Emilie Ringe was one of the 58 scientist and engineers from 41 research institutions and small business who received the Air Force’s Young Investigator Research Program (YIP). The selected people will receive the grant over a 3 year period.
230 proposals with broad technical areas were submitted to The Air Force Office on Scientific Research (AFOSR). The AFOSR program officers chose the 41 winning proposals based on the evaluation criteria listed in the broad agency announcement.
