Just Accepted: ACS Nano Paper on Recent Advances in 2D Materials Beyond Graphene

Prof Ringe collaborated with scientist across the United States and China to review the new trends in two-dimensional (2D) materials beyond graphene.

The publication aims to review significant recent advances and important new developments in 2D materials “beyond graphene.” The authors explain the theoretical modeling and understanding of the van der Waals forces that hold together the 2D layers. Additionally, they highlight recent breakthroughs in transition metal dichalcogenides synthesis and characterization and discuss the newest families of 2D materials.
